Here is the first of four reference sheets: Roo "The Artist". I couldn't fit everything I wanted on here. The thing is already HOOGE. If I had tried, it would have turned out more cluttered than it already is... not to mention it would've been GIGANTOR MAMMOTHALIEN in size.
While I think it came out fairly well, I will most likely take it and tweak it this weekend (fix some of the text and such).
I was really pissed when it came time to change this image from .psd to .png. I had managed to get a really neat effect with the background that I liked a lot... but, every time I would merge the cells, the background would look totally different and the effect was nowhere to be seen. I spent hours just trying to figure out how to merge the layers and still keep the effect. I found about three or four different ways to achieve the effect... but they all behaved the same way when I merged the layers. I even tried other file types... but it was still a 'no go'. It upset me to no end, but I had to compromise and make something that looked relatively close to what I wanted. (In the end, I wanted to cry...)
But, anyways, here it is. As for critiques, I would prefer layout, design critiques... not actual A/P, coloring, etc. critiques. Trying to find ways to make a ref sheet that's not cluttered and such.
lol it's awesome, and btw i am full of crap all the time, which u already know. i love that background, it's wavey colors. <---- wasn't being full of crap on that one lol
ok, now the question is, next time i come down r we going to remember that u was going to show me. >< maybe next time i come down i wont have to bring a kid then hear for 3 days straight that she wants to come back and see her bf lol

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have you ever wondered what something meant as far as Photography goes? Things like "Cable Release", "AEB", "C-41", "Neutral density filter", and "Polarizer"? The photonotes.org Dictionary of Film and Digital Photography is one place to stop and get it all answered. This is quite a valuable resource that explains in depth what a photography term means, and will help those understand who might not know what something is.
